TELEGARD SUPPORT ECHO - FIDONET RETURNS

MISSISSAUGA, On. - October 18th, 1993 - The Telegard support conference is now officially on
the backbone.  It may take a few days for the various links to hookup and begin receiving
the echo, but once that has been done, everything should hopefully be smooth
sailing.

TG_SUPPORT is our official support conference.  All the beta team members may be found
there, many of the utility authors will be found there, and myself, as the author of
Telegard will also be found there.

There are a number of reasons to bring our support conference to the backbone; it will allow
more participation (users & SysOps instead of just TG SysOps), lessened costs (no more LD
calls - or few at least), increased availability and public awareness. 

It was important enough that the beta team thought it should be done as soon as possible --
we intend to move forward with Telegard, which required an accessible support
conference.

If you are currently linked into the TG_SUPPORT echo via one of the beta sites, please
disconnect and connect through your hub (unless your HUB is your beta site).  In order to
minimize the chance of a duplicate message loop, your beta site may have already
disconnected you so that problems don't occur.  If they haven't, then please disconnect your
own feed before connecting to your hub -- this is a big favour, and I ask for your sake,
ours and Fidonet's, don't add any undue stress to a burdened system!
